dc.description	This paper deals with the issue of tourism in one of the most dynamic regions in the whole of Mexico; the seaboard corridor comprising from Tijuana, in the northernmost tip of the country, to the port of Ensenada, some 140 kilometers south. In the last decade, the physical infraestructure for tourist activities in the area has experienced an extraordinary growth. This expansion can be explained in terms of the geographical vicinity of the area to the Californian market and the relatively cheap prices paid for services and good consumed by foreign visitors.	en-US
dc.description	El presente trabajo examina las peculiaridades geográficas de una de las regiones turísticas mexicanas más dinámicas. Se trata de un corredor costero que se inicia en Tijuana y llega hasta las inmediaciones del Puerto de Ensenada. En lo que va del decenio, en esta zona de México el turismo ha crecido a pasos agigantados e incluso ha originado la creación de una nueva entidad municipal. La cercanía mercado estadounidense, en especial el de Califormia, y el precio comparativamente barato de los servicios y bienes que consumen el turismo, representan rasgos distintivos de la situación geográfica en el territorio examinado.	es-ES
