| dc.description | The following paper goes through some aspect about the treatment that have received the Chilean territorial arrangement. It resumes some difficulties and gives some elements that would allow to solve some distortions inside the public discussions about this subject. It also treats some difficulties that our public organizations and management has related to territorial interventions, analyzing the decentralizations process as an answer to this difficulties. At last, it gives some ideas to be considered in the future actions. | en-US |

Resume algunas definiciones y entrega ciertos elementos que permitan superar las distorsiones subyacentes en las discusiones públicas de la materia. Asimismo, aborda las dificultades que nuestra organización política y administrativa presenta en materia de intervenciones territoriales, analizando al proceso de descentralización como una respuesta a estas dificultades.
