dc.description	The 1960 tsunami was modeled in an estuary in Central-South of Chile. The reconstruction of the event is carried out by the modeling of the tsunamigenic seismic scenario, employing a technique of numeric simulation of near field tsunamis, which allowed the description of the generation process, propagation and flood generated by the waves in the low coastal areas. The tsunami simulation results are validated with antecedents and existent evidences from the real event.	en-US

La reconstrucción del evento se realizó mediante la modelación del escenario sísmico tsunamigénico, utilizando una técnica de simulación numérica de tsunamis de campo cercano, permitiendo caracterizar el proceso de generación, propagación e inundación generada por las ondas en las áreas costeras bajas. Los resultados de la simulación del tsunami se validan con antecedentes y evidencias existentes del evento real.	es-ES
