dc.descriptionThe traditionally peripheral Chiloé space has been transforming into a dynamic territory, marked by the fact that the historical and cultural characteristics of the island constitute a true geographical resonance or spatial imprint that resists and perhaps conditions the transformations resulting from the incorporation of Chiloé into the Chilean and world economic space. The development of emerging economic activities has allowed a differentiated valorization of certain subspaces, which translates into a certain territorial imbalance. Will the Chiloé space be able to overcome the extraverted economic scheme that seems to characterize it and transform itself into something more than an enclave?en-US
dc.descriptionEl espacio chilote tradicionalmente periférico se ha ido transformando en un territorio dinámico, marcado por el hecho de que las características históricas y culturales propias de la isla constituyen una verdadera resonancia geográfica o impronta espacial que resiste y tal vez condiciona las transformaciones resultantes de la incorporación de Chiloé al espacio económico chileno y mundial. El desarrollo de las actividades económicas emergentes ha permitido una valorización diferenciada de ciertos subespacios, la que se traduce en un cierto desequilibrio territorial. ¿Podrá el espacio chilote superar el esquema de economía extravertida que parece caracterizarlo y transformarse en algo más que un enclave?es-ES
