This article presents findings on the state of pluralism of information and the institutional conditions of the informative system in Chile. Based on the concept of structural informative pluralism and freedom in the media, there is an analysis of the institutional conditions that enable or jeopardize the configuration of a public sphere characterized by pluralism of information. An overview image of the Chilean case is formed through an analysis of official reports, a bibliography of studies on the topic and current legislation.Este artículo presenta hallazgos sobre la situación del pluralismo informativo y sus condiciones institucionales del sistema informativo nacional. Desde el concepto de pluralismo informativo estructural y libertad en los medios, se analizan las condiciones institucionales que posibilitan o ponen en riesgo la configuración de una esfera pública que se caracterice por el pluralismo informativo. A través del análisis de informes oficiales, bibliografía de investigación y la legislación vigente, se elabora una imagen sinóptica del caso chileno
