El presente artículo está desarrollado bajo una revisión bibliográfica consultando 20 artículos en las diferentes bases de datos referidos en la web, tiene por objetivo determinar los elementos de mayor relevancia en la cultura organizacional (CO) de las instituciones de Educación Superior (IES), ya que estas contribuyen en gran medida al desarrollo social, económico y cultural de una región, y a fortalecer la calidad en los procesos educativos, de igual manera se concluye que IES deben apropiarse de la cultura organizacional con el fin de poder explorar las costumbres, conocimientos y aspectos propios de cada comunidad que son útiles para brindar una educación con altos estándares de calidad.This article is developed under a bibliographical review consulting 20 articles in the different databases referred to on the web, its objective is to determine the most relevant elements in the organizational culture (OC) of Higher Education Institutions (IES), since that these contribute greatly to the social, economic and cultural development of a region, and to strengthen the quality of educational processes, in the same way it is concluded that HEIs must appropriate the organizational culture in order to be able to explore the customs, knowledge and aspects of each community that are useful to provide an education with high quality standards.
