| dc.description | This article discusses the challenges of social work with communities in the current context in which collective action is trapped in Chile today and in the globalized world of the village, by the trends towards fragmentation and dislocation, with specific interests and focused on conflict resolution, which highlights the need to stop and analyze the ways in how it is exercised today the participation of the community, how it develops social empowerment, and how collective action is able to give legitimacy and empowering social and political community experience. So the challenges that exist today on the community, ranging from the power it holds in decision-making, the support of local projects that are of national interest, up to the rules of their actions, in the case of Chile a new participation Act, recently released in February this year, community participation standard. | en-US |
| dc.description | El presente artículo discute los desafíos del trabajo social con comunidades en el actual contexto, en que la acción colectiva se ve entrampada en Chile hoy y en el mundo de la aldea globalizada, por las tendencias hacia la atomización y la desarticulación, con participaciones específicas y centradas en la resolución del conflicto, lo que pone de manifiesto la necesidad de detenerse y analizar las formas en cómo se ejerce hoy la participación de la comunidad, cómo se desarrolla el empoderamiento social, y cómo la acción colectiva es capaz de otorgar legitimidad y dotar de poder social y político a la experiencia comunitaria. De modo que los desafíos existentes hoy sobre la comunidad, van desde el poder que ésta ostenta en materia decisional; el respaldo de proyectos a nivel local que sean de interés nacional, hasta llegar a la normativa de su accionar, para el caso de Chile, con una nueva Ley de Participación, recién estrenada en febrero del presente año, que norma la participación comunitaria. | es-ES |
