dc.descriptionThe improvement of the social interventions oriented to eliminate Child Sexual and Commercial Abuse in Chile is an urgent task that had already been empathically specified by Alberto Hurtado when he establishes as 'a crime to abuse children' when the wage of the worker was not enough to maintain the family. According to Alberto Hurtado, the situation of the children and children harmed in their rights was always an open wound in the Chilean society, and part of his work was oriented to accompany the unprotected child. This preoccupation that Father Hurtado framed in the context of the scarcity in the exercise of the parental role, proposing the State, the Church and the School as auxiliary institutions of the family, places us in a scenario that invites us to ask ourselves about the relevance of these actors in the eradication of the Child Commercial Sexual Abuse: "no other institution can replace the mission of the family, it can look for support, and still these are necessary for our complex civilization; hence, the intervention of the Church, the State, the School..."en-US
dc.descriptionEl mejoramiento de las intervenciones sociales orientadas a erradicar la Explotación Sexual y Comercial Infantil en Chile, es una tarea urgente que ya habí­a sido señalada enfáticamente por Alberto Hurtado cuando establecí­a como "un crimen abusar de la edad infantil" cuando el salario del obrero o era suficiente para mantener a la familia. Para Alberto Hurtado, la situación de los niños y niñas vulnerados en sus derechos fue siempre una herida abierta en la sociedad chilena, y parte de su trabajo se orientó a acompañar a la niñez desprotegida. Esta preocupación que el Padre Hurtado enmarcó en el contexto de la precariedad en el ejercicio del rol parental, proponiendo como instituciones auxiliares de la familia al Estado, a la Iglesia y a la Escuela, nos sitúa en un escenario que invita a preguntarse sobre la relevancia de estos actores en la erradicación de la Explotación Sexual Comercial Infantil: "Ninguna otra institución puede reemplazar la misión de la familia. Ella puede buscar auxiliares, y aun son estos necesarios en nuestra complicada civilización; de aquí­ la intervención de la Iglesia, del Estado, de la Escuela..."es-ES
