dc.descriptionThe present work aims to analyze the conflicts between the right to life and religious freedoms in jurisprudence, regarding the refusal of some medical procedure, in particular blood transfusions. After reviewing the majority position, I will question the premise of the of the unavailability and absoluteness of the right to life.en-US
dc.descriptionEl presente trabajo tiene por objetivo analizar el conflicto existente entre el derecho a la vida y las libertades religiosas en la jurisprudencia, a propósito del rechazo a ciertos procedimientos médicos como las transfusiones de sangre. Luego de reconstruir la postura mayoritaria, cuestionaré dos de sus fundamentos esenciales: que el derecho a la vida es un derecho absoluto y que se trata de un derecho indisponible.es-ES
