| dc.description | The aim of this paper is to discuss the gender perspective within the context of the new rurality, new positions and the social gender identities. The discussion about new rurality is no longer confined to the dichotomy of rural/urban; it is related to many regions where the population makes different activities that interact. At the same time, there is an interdependency of the rural world with the economy of the urban world. Within the development logic, marked by the capital accumulation, industry development, changes in the production relations and consume patrons, it is considered the existence of an alternative development considering the gender perspective. Finally, it is concluded that this point of view has theoretical and methodological implications and is a challenge for the construction of public policies and several institutions. | en-US |
| dc.description | El objetivo de este ensayo es discutir sobre la perspectiva de género en el contexto de la nueva ruralidad, los nuevos posicionamientos e identidades sociales de género. La discusión de la nueva ruralidad ya no se reduce solo a la dicotomía de lo rural y lo urbano, pues abarca un conjunto de regiones cuya población realiza diversas actividades que interactúan entre sí, y al mismo tiempo, una interdependencia del mundo rural con el resto de la economía y el medio urbano. En la lógica de desarrollo, marcado por acumulación de capital, industrialización, cambios en las relaciones de producción y patrones de consumo, se considera la pertinencia de un desarrollo alternativo considerando la perspectiva de género; concluyéndose que este enfoque tiene implicaciones teórico-metodológicas y constituye un desafío para el diseño de políticas públicas, así como para diversas instituciones. | es-ES |
