This article aims to analyze the current cultural dispute, consisting of making sense of social reality on the use of the body. Societal Two proposals have been expressed about it in Argentina and have located the body, sexuality, the couple and the family at the center of the lawsuit. For description is proposed as a first approximation to identify the historical context that defines the face of one of the actors in this dispute: neoconservative fundamentalism. At a later stage, describing the processes of consolidation of the actor and the maturity of its proposals, and conclude with a discussion of the logical articulation and political advancement of their proposals in Argentina. To illustrate these constructions will take the process of development of Comprehensive Sex Education Act and the approval of the Curriculum Guidelines for Comprehensive Sexuality Education and the run around the Equal Marriage Act, which defined distinctly feminist imaginary borders, lay, liberals and progressives, on the one hand, and the neoconservative and religious fundamentalists, on the other.Este artículo propone analizar la disputa cultural actual, consistente en dar sentido a la realidad social sobre el uso del cuerpo. Dos propuestas societales se han expresado al respecto en Argentina y han situado al cuerpo, la sexualidad, la pareja y la familia en el centro del pleito. Para su descripción se propone en una primera aproximación identificar el contexto histórico que define el semblante de uno de los actores de esta disputa: el fundamentalismo neoconservador. En una etapa ulterior, describir los procesos de afianzamiento de dicho actor y la madurez de sus planteos, para luego concluir con un examen de la lógica articuladora y el avance político de sus propuestas en la Argentina. Para ejemplificar estas construcciones se tomará el proceso de desarrollo de la Ley de Educación Sexual Integral y la aprobación de los Lineamientos Curriculares de Educación Sexual Integral y los prolegómenos alrededor de la Ley de Matrimonio Igualitario, donde se definieron nítidamente las fronteras imaginarias de feministas, laicas/os, liberales y progresistas, por un lado, y las/os neoconservadoras/es y fundamentalistas religiosas/os, por el otro.
