| dc.description | This paper consists deals with the analysis of some linguistic characteristics in three private letters written by Andalusian emigrates in America during the second half of the xvr century and kept in the Archivo General de Was in SeviUe. Underlying this study is the csnviction that the safest way to study the history of Spanish is the comparison uf original manuscripts. Thus, the graphic mistakes made by scribes show that the appearance of some phonetic traits typical of Andalusian and Spanish-American speech were already present at that time. Besides, the analysis comprises graphic and morphosyntactic problems that show a reminiscence of medieval forms and uses, but that, at the same tiine, suggest an undoubtful modernity in some respects. The text typology may also condition the appearance of variants employed in less formal registers. | en-US |
| dc.description | Este trabajo consiste en el estudio de algunas características lingüísticas de tres cartas privadas redactadas por emigrados andaluces en América durante la segunda mitad del siglo XVI y conservadas en el Archivo General de Indias de Sevilla. El estudio tiene como base la convicción de que el camino más seguro para el estudio de la historia del español es el cotejo de manuscritos originales. Así, los errores gráficos cometidos por los escribanos muestran la existencia, ya en la época de referencia, de algunos rasgos fonéticos característicos de las hablas andaluzas e hispanoamericanas. Además, se analizan cuestiones gráficas y morfosintácticas que presentan reminiscencias de usos y formas medievales, pero que, al mismo tiempo, dejan traslucir una innegable modernidad en ciertos aspectos. La tipología del texto también puede condicionar la aparición de variantes empleadas en registros menos formales. | es-ES |
