dc.descriptionThe aim of this article is to present an analysis of contrastive rhetoric with the principal objective of describing macrostructural idiosyncratic characteristics of the lecture as monological oral discourse genre. This is an exploratory study conducted by triangulation of empirical data using qualitative and quantitative research methodologies from an oral corpus of lectures in Spanish and Italian. After comparing the strategies found in the samples, the results reveal that the macrostructure of the conferences analyzed share many characteristics, but also show some differences in these two related languages. In practically every lecture the four sections of the primary macrostructure are respected, however, there are some differences in the strategies used in the secondary macrostructurein both groups.    en-US
dc.descriptionEn este artículo se presenta un análisis de retórica contrastiva cuyo objetivo principal es la descripción de las características macroestructurales idiosincrásicas de la conferencia como género discursivo oral de carácter monológico. Se trata de un estudio exploratorio realizado mediante la triangulación de datos empíricos en el que se emplearon las metodologías de investigación cualitativa y cuantitativa a partir de un corpus oral de conferencias en lengua española e italiana. Tras comparar las estrategias halladas en las muestras, los resultados revelan que la macroestructura de las conferencias analizadas comparte muchas características, pero también muestran algunas divergencias en estas dos lenguas afines. Se observa que prácticamente en todas las conferencias se respetan las cuatro secciones de la macroestructura primaria, sin embargo, existen diferencias en cuanto a las estrategias utilizadas en la macroestructura secundaria en ambos grupos.    es-ES
