This article pretends to establish a semantic and historical link between the Camusian concept of revolt and the concept of resistance from the presence, respectively explicit and implicit, that both have in the philosophy of Albert Camus and that determines his metaphysical, anthropological, ethical and political thought. From the philosophical analysis of the concept of revolt and its necessary link with the Camusian concept of the absurd, resistance appears as the background of human existential experience, in its metaphysical dimension (search for meaning), in its ethical dimension (finding a fundamental principle of action) and in its political dimension (to build an order where freedom and the right of rebellion of human beings are preserved). Also, from historical analysis, the Camusian concept of revolt appears strongly linked, regarding contrast, with that of revolution, this due to the political context in post-war France after the experience of La Résistence, which profoundly influenced Camus’s thought.El presente artículo pretende establecer un vínculo semántico e histórico entre el concepto camusiano de rebelión y el de resistencia a partir de la presencia, respectivamente explícita e implícita, que ambos tienen en la filosofía de Albert Camus y que determina su pensamiento metafísico, antropológico, ético y político. A partir del análisis filosófico del concepto de rebelión y de su necesaria filiación con el concepto camusiano del absurdo, la resistencia aparece como el trasfondo de la experiencia existencial humana, tanto en su dimensión metafísica (búsqueda de sentido) como en su dimensión ética (encontrar un principio fundamental de acción) y política (construir un orden donde se preserve la libertad y el derecho de rebelión de los seres humanos). Además, desde un análisis histórico, el concepto de rebelión camusiano aparece fuertemente ligado al de resistencia y, en términos de contraste, al de revolución, esto debido al contexto político que se vivía en la Francia de posguerra luego de la experiencia de La Résistence, la cual marcó profundamente el pensamiento de Camus.
