| dc.description | The following essay aims to ponder the problems associated with the confinement in a continuum between the exception state, the limitations associated with free circulation, quarantine and psychiatric institutions. Thought not as events that weigh one over the other, but rather, as a rhizome, based on a constant overlap between one and the other. Inspired on concepts derived from the work of Deleuze and Guattari, escape is proposed as an alter- native to confinement, assuming this one doesn’t necessarily correspond literally to being locked in an institution, and likewise, escape doesn’t necessarily have to do with escaping a determined place. Finally, there is an attempt to situate the machinic question in regard to psychiatric institutions. | en-US |
| dc.description | El presente ensayo pretende reflexionar respecto de la problemática asociada al encierro en un continuo entre el estado de excepción, las limitantes asociadas a la circulación, la cuarentena y las instituciones psiquiátricas. Pensadas no como acontecimientos que pesen el uno por sobre el otro, sino más bien, a modo de rizoma, en base a un solapamiento constante entre una y otra. En base a conceptos derivados del trabajo de Deleuze y Guattari se propone la fuga como alternativa al encierro, asumiendo que dicho encierro no necesariamente corresponde literalmente a la estancia cautiva en una institución y, asimismo, la fuga no necesariamente tiene que ver con salir de un lugar determinado. Finalmente, se hace un intento por situar la cuestión maquínica en lo que respecta a las instituciones psiquiátricas. | es-ES |
