The focus of the study was based on time as a belief of mastery and as an integral value to entrepreneurial work. The temporality of the daily practices from the entrepreneurs was verified, showing that the daily work time does not have chronological barriers beyond the requirements of the clients. The methods of using time (appropriation) are faced according to what were called the sub-times of time. These sub-times determined the clusters, wich formed by family time; productive time; leisure time and non family social time, allowed to generate a time distribution model different from the continuous current of the third of the working day plus two thirds of free time. This time mastery was taken as a degree of freedom for these subjects, where it could be seen as a mastery dimension. Entrepreuners from Rancagua mold time according to their perception, independently their load of the schedule. Entrepreneurship means appropriating time and managing it as a resource. This is an idea of entrepreneurs, wich in practice corresponds to a belief rooted in the culture of entrepreneurship in Rancagua.El enfoque del estudio se basó en el tiempo como una creencia de dominio y como un valor integral al trabajo emprendedor. La temporalidad de las prácticas diarias de los emprendedores se logró verificar, mostrando que el tiempo diario de trabajo no tiene barreras cronológicas más allá de las exigencias de los clientes. Las formas de usar el tiempo (percepción/apropiación) están afrontadas según lo que se denominó los subtiempos del tiempo. Estos subtiempos determinaron los clústeres, que, formados por el tiempo familiar, tiempo productivo, tiempo de ocio y el tiempo social no familiar, permitieron generar un modelo de distribución horaria distinto al corriente continuo del tercio del día laboral más dos tercios de uso libre. Ese dominio del tiempo fue tomado como un grado de libertad para estos sujetos, donde pudo ser visto como una dimensión de dominio. El emprendedor rancagüino moldea el tiempo en su percepción, independiente de la carga cronológica del horario. Emprender significa apropiarse del tiempo y gestionarlo como un recurso. Esta es una idea de los emprendedores y en la práctica corresponde a una creencia arraigada en la cultura de emprendimiento rancagüino.
