dc.description	This article analyzes the political practices exercised by local government offi cials in Mexico City in the early eighteenth century, around the meat supply. The idea is to observe the common good, but settled not only in humanism doctrine, but also within a mercantilist policy, in which the economic interests of the Crown intended to come together as one body with those of his subjects.	en-US
dc.description	En este artículo se analizan las prácticas políticas ejercidas por miembros del gobierno local en la ciudad de México a principios del siglo XVIII, en torno al abasto de carne. La idea es observar la búsqueda del bien común, pero asentado no solo en bases humanistas, sino también dentro de una política mercantilista, en la que los intereses económicos de la Corona pretenden confluir como en un solo cuerpo con los de sus súbditos.	es-ES
