dc.description	The notion of "ambition" plays a preponderant role within the rules of the Paris Agreement, in particular, regarding the progressive updating of National Determined Contributions (NDC). However, this concept does not yet have sufficient clarity and distinction to be able to serve as a trulyguiding directive in the formulation of Chile's new contributions. That is why we try to deliver some guidance from the practice of climate negotiations and International Law. We also offer a brief orientation regarding the consequences that this reading would have for Chile when formulating its new NDC.	en-US
dc.description	La noción de “ambición” juega un rol preponderante dentro de las normas del Acuerdo de París, en particular, respecto a la actualización progresiva de las Contribuciones Nacionales Determinadas (NDC, por sus siglas en inglés). No obstante, este concepto aún no cuenta con la suficiente claridad y distinción para poder servir de directiva realmente orientadora en la formulación de las nuevas contribuciones de Chile. Es por eso que intentamos entregar algunas luces de orientación desde la práctica de las negociaciones climáticas y el Derecho internacional. Asimismo, ofrecemos una breve orientación respecto a las consecuencias que tendría esta lectura para Chile al momento de formular sus nuevas NDC.	es-ES
