This article aims to analyze the poetic work in Vírgenes del Sol Inn Cabaret by Alexis Figueroa. Vírgenes del Sol Inn Cabaret focuses on the prostitute’s body and the brothel space. In this sense, the article is divided into two parts. The first part focuses on studying the process of transvestism, masking and objectification to which the female body is subjected as a central element of vaudeville-brothel. For this purpose, the use of the concept of the doll woman will be essential. The second part, following Oscar Galindo’s ideas, explores the game of unmasking that occurs later. This game denies the idea of the brothel as a space of prodigy and initiates an aesthetic of the ugly in opposition to a gimmicky aesthetic.Este artículo tiene como propósito analizar el trabajo poético que se lleva cabo en Vírgenes del Sol Inn Cabaret de Alexis Figueroa, en torno al cuerpo de la prostituta y al espacio prostibulario. En este sentido, el trabajo se divide en dos partes. En la primera, nos centraremos en estudiar los procesos de travestismo, enmascaramiento y cosificación a los que se ve sometida la meretriz como elemento central del vodevil-lupanar. Para ello, será fundamental el uso del concepto de mujer muñeca. En la segunda parte, al hilo de las ideas postuladas por Óscar Galindo, procederemos a explicar el juego de desenmascaramiento que se desarrolla con posterioridad. Este desvelamiento negará la idea del lupanar como espacio de prodigio e iniciará una estética feísta frente a una estética efectista.
