dc.description	The purpose of this article is to analyze certain post-dictatorship image rhetorics of image as arisen from Chilean and Argentinian novels and films during the first fifteen years of the 21st Century. These take the shape of crossovers between image/film image and image/text, from which it is sought to answer first the question of the gaps left by history/memory, and second, by the political, cultural and social tensions between visual and verbal representations. From this point we will argue that these gaps and tensions articulate the impossibility to bringing a conclusion to the history/memory stories in the post-dictatorship period.	en-US
dc.description	Este artículo analiza ciertas retóricas de la imagen de la postdictadura erigidas desde la novela y el cine en Chile y Argentina en los primeros tres lustros del siglo XXI. Retóricas configuradas como cruces entre imagen/imagen fílmica e imagen/texto, a partir de las cuales se busca responder la pregunta, primero, por los vacíos que ha dejado la historia/memoria; y, segundo, por las tensiones políticas, culturales y sociales entre las representaciones visuales y las verbales. Desde aquí sostenemos que tales vacíos y tensiones articulan la imposibilidad de concluir los relatos de la historia/memoria en postdictadura.	es-ES
