The legal system of Colombia, by the incorporation of popular actions, has allowed many actors to appeal to the courts looking to enforce diferents rights, one of those are the right to a healthy environment and the management and use of natural resources. Due to the wide legitimacy to act when these rights are affected, the Legal Clinics have appeared as a principal actor in the national courts where, through strategic litigation, they seek to achieve the protection of those rights. One of these legal clinics is the Public Actions Group of the University of Rosario, where through a rigorous selection of cases, they have achieved an effective protection of the environment, through the interposition of popular actions.El ordenamiento jurídico de Colombia, al incorporar el ejercicio de acciones populares, ha permitido que diversos actores recurran ante los tribunales de justicia para hacer valer diversos derechos, siendo uno de éstos el derecho al medio ambiente sano y al manejo y aprovechamiento de los recursos naturales, establecido en la Constitución. Debido a la amplia legitimidad para accionar cuando estos derechos se ven afectados, las Clínicas Jurídicas han aparecido como un actor principal ante los tribunales de justicia donde, a través del litigio estratégico, buscan lograr la protección de dichos derechos. Una de estas clínicas jurídicas es el Grupo de Acciones Públicas de la Universidad del Rosario, la cual ha realizando una rigurosa selección de casos, logrando una efectiva protección del medio ambiente a través de la interposición de acciones populares.
