This paper’s purpose is to offer some considerations about the new felony offense created in Chile, which mainly seeks to protect the antitrust regulation. Thus we offer a brief exposition of substantive aspects, a description of the administrative protection, and also the typical structure of the new crime adding some procedural aspects to emphasize.Este artículo tiene por objetivo ofrecer algunas consideraciones con respecto al nuevo tipo penal de colusión, cuyo fin principal es proteger la libre competencia de los mercados. Se presenta una breve exposición de aspectos sustantivos y la descripción de la protección administrativa, así como de la estructura típica del nuevo hecho punible y algunos aspectos procesales a destacar.
