Right approach in Sexual and Reproductive Health Policies of OCDE countries: A scoping review

dc.descriptionA Scoping Review was carried out based on the Joanna Briggs Institute methodology, through a search of the websites of international organizations, academic search engines and government databases; to observe the inclusion of the human rights approach in sexual and reproductive health policies, with the aim of identifying existing gaps between expectations and effectively declared guarantees. The search outputs evidence from 21 countries that respond to the approach, mostly describing the sub-guarantees of access and quality, partially those of financial protection and continuous review, and minimally that of reparation. It is concluded that there is heterogeneity in the incorporation of the rights approach in the design of policies: directed at the delivery of services and, to a lesser extent, at social participation and the repair of violations of their rights.en-US
dc.descriptionEste estudio realiza una revisión de alcance basado en la metodología del Joanna Briggs Institute, a través de una búsqueda en sitios web de organizaciones internacionales, buscadores académicos y bases de datos gubernamentales; para observar la inclusión del enfoque de derechos humanos en las políticas de salud sexual y reproductiva, con el objetivo de identificar brechas existentes entre las expectativas y las garantías efectivamente declaradas. La búsqueda arrojó evidencia de 21 países que dan respuesta al enfoque describiendo mayoritariamente las subgarantías de acceso y calidad, parcialmente las de protección financiera y revisión continua, y mínimamente la de reparación. Se concluye que existe una heterogeneidad en la incorporación del enfoque de derechos en el diseño de las políticas: direccionado a la entrega de servicios y en menor medida a la participación social y a la reparación de vulneraciones a sus derechos.es-ES
