This article evaluates the value perceived by the user of the Center of Primary Health in study versus the value delivered by this organization with the purpose to determine the gap in the quality of the service and the factors that affect. There has used the model SERVQUAL already validated for the sector health. The results indicate that the value of the gap is negative since the polled users were waiting for a better service of what actually they received or perceived. The most important dimensions in the study to evaluate the quality of the service were Security and Tangibility.Este artículo evalúa el valor percibido por el usuario del Centro de Salud Primaria en estudio versus el valor entregado por este establecimiento con el propósito de determinar la brecha en la calidad del servicio y los factores que inciden. Se ha usado el modelo SERVQUAL ya validado para el sector salud. Los resultados señalan que el valor de la brecha es negativo ya que los usuarios encuestados esperaban un mejor servicio de lo que en realidad recibieron o percibieron. Las dimensiones más importantes en el estudio para evaluar la calidad del servicio fueron seguridad y tangibilidad.
