The main focus of this study is to examine the impact of strategic planning on Strategic Social Responsibility and non-financial performance in SMEs of the southern state of Quintana Roo. The data were obtained from a survey which was applied to 348 companies of different commercial activities. The information was analyzed through the method of structural equation model (SEM). The aim of the study was to analyze the relationships between the various dimensions of Corporate Social Responsibility and Non-Financial Performance, as well as the impact of strategic planning on those dimensions. The results of the study indicate that when the ethical and employee dimensions are associated with the strategic planning group, they show a positive and significant correlation in both types of companies - those that apply and those that do not apply strategic planning.La investigación se centra en el análisis del impacto de la planeación estratégica en la Responsabilidad Social Estratégica y el desempeño no financiero en las Mipymes del sur del estado de Quintana Roo. Los datos se extrajeron de una encuesta que se aplicó en 384 empresas de diferentes giros comerciales. La información se analizó a través del método de ecuaciones estructurales (SEM). El objetivo del estudio fue analizar las relaciones que tienen las dimensiones de la Responsabilidad Social Empresarial y el Desempeño no financiero y el impacto que tiene la planeación estratégica en las dimensiones. El resultado de la investigación fue que las dimensiones ética y empleados vinculadas con el grupo de planeación estratégica mostraron una relación positiva y significativas tanto en las empresas qué si aplican como en las que no aplican planeación estratégica.
