This article seeks to revisit Ernesto Laclau's and Jorge Alemán's critiques to the contemporary thinkers of the crowd, in order to sustain that the theory of populism does not necessarily have to dismiss the theoretical-political figure of the crowd. We will argue that the idea of a Common: Loneliness proposed by Alemán inserts itself in the Laclausian tradition, while habilitating a new conceptualization about the relation between subject and crowd. This point will allow a dialogue between psychoanalysis and deconstruction, sustaining that there is, between them, a negative ontology of the crowd, that separates them from those perspective that see in the crowd a positive immanent potency of bodies that naturally tend to revolt. The question that therefore structures this work is if it is possible to sustain the theoretical and political potentiality of the crowd from within the frame of a (political) negative ontology.    Este artí­culo busca revisitar la crí­tica que Ernesto Laclau y Jorge Alemán han hecho en las últimas décadas a los pensadores contemporáneos de la multitud, a fin de sostener que la teorí­a del populismo no debe necesariamente descartar la figura teórico-polí­tica de la multitud. Se argumentará que la idea de una Soledad: Común propuesta por Alemán retoma la tradición laclausiana, habilitando simultáneamente una nueva conceptualización sobre la relación entre sujeto y multitud.  Este punto permitirá poner a dialogar psicoanálisis y deconstrucción, afirmando que entre ellos hay en común una ontologí­a negativa de la multitud, que los distancia de las perspectivas que ven en la multitud una potencia positiva inmanente de los cuerpos que tienden naturalmente a sublevarse. La pregunta que estructura este trabajo es, pues, si es posible sostener la potencialidad teórica y polí­tica de la multitud en el marco de una ontologí­a (polí­tica) negativa.
