The main objective of the research is to identify and analyze the landing of neoliberal ideas in the subnational space, from those who intervene in the economic discussion to the spaces that were used as support. This, considering an area characterized by its industrial stamp and certain productive sectors. Characterizing the spaces that these ideas occupied and where they were constantly reproduced. The foregoing will lead us to identify and analyze the spaces and actors present in the events. Lo anterior, atendiendo a una zona de impronta industrial y determinados sectores productivos, caracterizando los espacios que ocuparon dichas ideas y dónde se reprodujeron de manera constante. Lo anterior nos llevará a identificar y analizar los espacios y actores presentes en los hechos. Asimismo, pretendemos dar cuenta de la presencia de los Chicago Boys en el plano regional, a su actuación en la realidad del Gran Concepción ,y en especial, lo referido a su quehacer como columnistas en el diario El Sur.Palabras clave: Neoliberalismo, Concepción, Dictadura.
