| dc.description | The present paper arises from two premises. The first refers to the possibility of understanding the territory (more precisely, territorial history) from a dynamic and, in a certain way, unstable point of view. That is, from the different activities and flows (material and semiotic) that simultaneously run through, animate and transform it. The second is related to the relevance of understanding social reality (territorial and historical), shifting the focus of attention from essentialist approaches towards couplings or assemblages in which both human and non-human agents intervene in unpredictable ways. From this platform, the main purpose here is to study the colonization process of Aysén (Western Patagonia) in the framework of the chilean civic-military dictatorship (1973-1990) from the different socio-territorial rhythms, paying particular attention to the participation that has in this process the Carretera Austral. In this way, based on the analysis of official sources, oral testimony, periodical publications and secondary bibliography, it is proposed that during the study period the Carretera Austral will articulate a series of processes aimed at affirming a continental, vertical and sedentary territoriality that will impact not only on the physiognomy of the landscape but also in the local socio- territorial trajectories.Keywords: Infrastructure, Rhythms, Dictatorship, Patagonia- Aysén, Carretera Austral | en-US |
| dc.description | El presente trabajo surge de dos premisas. La primera se refiere a la posibilidad de comprender al territorio (más precisamente a la historia territorial) desde un punto de vista dinámico y, de cier- to modo, inestable. Es decir, a partir de las distintas actividades y flujos (materiales y semióticos) que simultáneamente lo recorren, animan y transforman. La segunda dice relación con la relevancia de comprender la realidad social (territorial e histórica) desplazando el foco de atención desde abordajes esencialistas hacia los acoplamientos o ensamblajes en los que intervienen de formas imprevisibles tanto agentes humanos como no-humanos. Desde esta plataforma, el propósito central acá es estudiar el proceso de colonización de Aysén (Patagonia Occidental) en el marco de la dictadura cívico militar chilena (1973-1990) a partir de los distintos ritmos socioterritoriales, prestando particular atención a la participación que tiene en dicho proceso la Carretera Austral. De esta manera, a partir del análisis de fuentes oficiales, testimonios, publicaciones periódicas y bibliografía secundaria se propone que durante el período de estudio la Carretera Austral articulará una serie de procesos tendientes a afirmar una territorialidad continental, vertical y sedentaria que impactará no solo en la fisonomía del paisaje sino también en las trayectorias socioterritoriales locales.Palabras clave: Infraestructura, Ritmos, Dictadura, Patagonia-Aysén, Carretera Austral | es-ES |
