| dc.description | Este artículo busca presentar una serie de perspectivas teóricas y metodológicas útiles para analizar el uso de las metáforas en la escritura histórica. Para ello se exponen planteamientos propios de la hermenéutica, la teoría de la Historia, la lingüística y la historiografía. Estas proposiciones teóricas son aplicadas al análisis de dos obras de Historia Social elaboradas en Chile entre las décadas de 1940 y 1950, comprobando con ello tanto la presencia del lenguaje metafórico en la tradición de escritura profesional inspirada por el marxismo, como la utilidad de las metáforas para representar fenómenos históricos particularmente referidos a la condición de las clases trabajadoras. | es-ES |
| dc.description | This article presents four useful theoretical and methodological perspectives to analyze the use of metaphors in historical writing: hermeneutics, the theory of history, linguistics and historiography. These theoretical propositions are applied to the analysis of the Social History works produced in Chile between the 1940s and 1950s, verifying both the presence of metaphorical language in the tradition of professional writing inspired by Marxism, and the usefulness of metaphors. Represent historical phenomena particularly related to the condition of the working classes. | en-US |
