| dc.description | This article examines public statements made in the Trial for the Truth of Bahía Blanca, Argentina, by four former members of a task force called the “Grouping Troops”. It seeks to account for the ways in which the members of this group referred to their participation in operations that culminated with dead and missing persons and inquire about how they explained their actions in the repression; on the other hand, it seeks to investigate how the participation of these military in the Truth Judgment influenced the construction of a social representation about the figure of the repressor. We worked with a qualitative methodology focused on the analysis of the statements provided in the courtroom by the former members of the Troops Association and their circulation in different newspapers of local and national scope. | en-US |
| dc.description | En el presente artículo se examinan las declaraciones públicas realizadas en el Juicio por la Verdad de Bahía Blanca, Argentina, por parte de cuatro ex integrantes de un grupo de tareas denominado la “Agrupación Tropas”. Se busca dar cuenta de los modos en que los integrantes de este grupo se refirieron a su participación en operativos que culminaron con muertos y personas desaparecidas e indagar acerca de cómo explicaron su accionar en la represión; por otra parte, se busca indagar en cómo la participación de estos militares en el Juicio por la Verdad incidió en la construcción de una representación social acerca de la figura del represor. Se trabajó con una metodología cualitativa centrada en el análisis de las declaraciones brindadas en la sala de audiencias por los ex integrantes de la Agrupación Tropas y en la circulación de éstas en distintos diarios de alcance local y nacional. | es-ES |
