In this article, an approach that arises from the articulation between anthropological and historical research and the use of judicial sources is carried out, with the intention of exposing its heuristic potential for studies of companies or factory systems with working class towns. The analysis focused on two court cases related to a cement company, in the Olavarria party (Buenos Aires, Argentina) that occurred in the first half of the last century. The use of these unique sources allows us to examine and understand a broader sociocultural context, visualizing other aspects of the social relationships that are built in this manufacturing community. The results show us that, on the one hand, the supposed harmony of other works supported by opaque oral accounts, the different conflicts that appeared as part of the socio-labor relations of that ideal community and, on the other hand, that the conflicts themselves were made in that social order in which they developed.En el presente artículo se realiza un abordaje que surge de la articulación entre investigación antropológica, histórica y la utilización de las fuentes judiciales, con la intención de exponer su potencial heurístico para los estudios de company towns o sistemas de fábrica con villa obrera. El análisis se centró en dos causas judiciales vinculadas a una empresa cementera, en el partido de Olavarría (Buenos Aires, Argentina) ocurridos en la primera mitad del siglo pasado. La utilización de estas singulares fuentes nos permitirá examinar y conocer un contexto sociocultural más amplio, visibilizando otros aspectos de las relaciones sociales que se construían en esta comunidad fabril. Los resultados nos muestran que, por un lado, la supuesta armonía que sugieren otros trabajos apoyados en los relatos orales opacan los diferentes conflictos que aparecían como parte de las relaciones sociolaborales de esa comunidad ideal y por otro que los conflictos mismo estaban hechos de ese orden social en el que se desarrollaban.
