dc.descriptionGlenda Kapstein Lomboy (1939-2008) lived in Madrid during 1969-1979 and worked much of the time in the studio of Ramón Vázquez Molezún (1922-1993), a leading architect of modernity in Spain. Both architects show common approaches in the way of projecting: a close relationship between architecture and location, defined in response to topography, landscape, and climate. However, their search for the articulation of spaces between indoors and outdoors –intermediate spaces– is what relates their work to the principles defined by Team X2 and their modern architecture proposals in the second half of the 20th century. The comparison method between their projects is used to identify these common approaches. The article defines three shared project strategies created under the concept of intermediate space.en-US
dc.descriptionGlenda Kapstein Lomboy (1939-2008) residió en Madrid durante los años 1969-1979 y trabajó gran parte del tiempo en el estudio de Ramón Vázquez Molezún (1922-1993), arquitecto protagonista de la modernidad en España. Ambos arquitectos mostraban planteamientos comunes en la forma de proyectar: una relación estrecha entre arquitectura y lugar definida con respuestas a la topografía, al paisaje y al clima. Sin embargo, es la búsqueda de la articulación de espacios entre el interior y el exterior –los espacios intermedios– lo que permite relacionar sus obras con los principios definidos por el Team X1 y sus propuestas para la arquitectura moderna de la segunda mitad del siglo XX. Se utiliza el método de comparación entre sus proyectos para detectar estos planteamientos comunes. El artículo define tres estrategias proyectuales compartidas y generadas a la luz del concepto de espacio intermedio.es-ES
