dc.description	This research presents a first attempt to define the concept of sound-space from the aesthetic and auditory experience of sound in space, through the observation of the interactions between sound and architecture revealed by sound perception. The importance of sound in the configuration of space regards architecture not as its constructive conditions, but instead, as a sensible environment where sound builds animated environments. The case studies for the experiment are industrial spaces and sublime wartime architectures, abandoned infrastructures at the margins of memory, and the urban, uninhabitable places with unique and exacerbated acoustics. A series of compositions were made from the field recordings within the case studies, to work with the subjective interpretation of a sample of people using reactive listening as the main methodology. This aesthetic experience translates acoustic information through comparisons and associations that use the senses, synesthesia, memory, personal and social constructions of reality, and the affective relationship we have with the environment to give shape and definition to the sound-space.	en-US
dc.description	La investigación presenta un primer intento de definir el concepto de espacio-sonoro a partir de la experiencia estética y auditiva del sonido en el espacio, observando las interacciones entre sonido y arquitectura reveladas por la percepción sonora. La importancia del sonido en la configuración del espacio considera la arquitectura, no desde su dimensión constructiva, sino como un ambiente sensible, donde el sonido construye entornos vivos y animados. Los casos de estudio para la experimentación son espacios industriales y arquitecturas sublimes de tiempos de guerra, infraestructuras abandonadas en los márgenes de la memoria y lo urbano, lugares inhabitables con una acústica única y exacerbada. A partir de una serie de composiciones elaboradas con registros de campo al interior de los casos de estudio, se trabajó con la interpretación subjetiva de una muestra de personas utilizando la escucha reactiva como principal metodología. La experiencia estética de escucha traduce la información acústica a través de comparaciones y asociaciones que utilizan los sentidos, la sinestesia, la memoria, las construcciones personales y sociales de la realidad y la relación afectiva que tenemos con el entorno, para dar forma y definición al espacio-sonoro.	es-ES
