dc.descriptionColombia has urban peculiarities associated with various conflicts. These conflicts are evident in the urban space. From an interdisciplinary reading, the role of art combined with design can serve to understand and intervene in conflicts or social problems that appear in the city as urban tensions; however, this dialogic exercise requires making visible specific tools to materialize it. This article presents research results that proposes a methodological approach for the intervention of an urban context in tension at a time of pandemic. It seeks to broaden views of the pedagogical processes of inhabiting, from the review of strategies of political art combined with intervention tools proposed by the design of spaces/scenario (DS/S), an academic program offered by the Colegiatura Colombiana in the city of Medellin, Colombia. It describes a quasi-experiment, which used a mix of observational and experimental research. It is applied in urban space through an intervention based on political art. It mixes techniques such as installation, performance, happening, readymade with design tools, specifically of the DS/S such as social cartography and the design of spatial experiences in a neighborhood with spatial tensions and focused on the elderly population. It concludes that spatial intervention can be a useful tool to create and activate place amid urban contexts in Medellin's political, social, or aesthetic tension. In turn, from the analysis of the case study proposed in Barrio Antioquia, the research finds elements that highlight the power of political art in conversation with the design of spaces to build a collective sense of the public in space.en-US
dc.descriptionColombia tiene particularidades urbanas asociadas a conflictos diversos. Estos conflictos los que se evidencian en el espacio urbano. El papel del arte desde una lectura interdisciplinar que combina el diseño puede servir para la comprensión e intervención de conflictos o problemáticas sociales que se muestran en la ciudad a manera de tensiones urbanas; sin embargo, este ejercicio dialógico requiere visibilizar herramientas puntuales para materializarlo. Este articulo presenta los resultados de una investigación que propone una aproximación metodológica para la intervención de un contexto urbano en tensión en un momento de pandemia. Se busca ampliar miradas a los procesos pedagógicos del habitar, desde la revisión de estrategias del arte político combinadas con herramientas de intervención propuestas por el diseño de espacios/escenario (DE/E), programa académico ofrecido por la institución universitaria Colegiatura Colombiana en la ciudad de Medellín, Colombia. Describe un cuasiexperimento, que propone una mezcla entre la investigación observacional y la investigación experimental, aplicada en el espacio urbano a través de una intervención basada en el arte político que mezcla técnicas como instalación, performance, happening y readymade con herramientas propias del diseño, puntualmente del DE/E como la cartografía social y el diseño de experiencias espaciales en un barrio con tensiones espaciales y focalizado en población adulta mayor. Concluye que la intervención espacial puede ser una herramienta útil para crear y activar un lugar en medio de contextos urbanos en condición de tensión política, social o estética en Medellín. A su vez, el análisis del estudio de caso propuesto en Barrio Antioquia encuentra elementos que resaltan la potencia del arte político en conversación con el diseño de espacios para construir un sentido colectivo de lo público en el espacio.es-ES
