El asentamiento de grupos humanos en aldeas permanentes y el comienzo de la producción de alimentos, trajeron consigo aparejados un nuevo mundo de prácticas, materialidades y relaciones. En Anfama, Tucumán, Argentina, esas aldeas establecidas a inicios del primer milenio de la era cristiana y las unidades residenciales que las conformaban, pervivieron y fueron ocupadas de manera reiterada durante más de quinientos años. En este trabajo se procura indagar el registro arqueológico relacionado a prácticas alimenticias con el fin de reflexionar acerca del rol de la alimentación como elemento cohesionador de la unidad doméstica. El objetivo es intentar entrever las relaciones que tienen lugar en torno a estas prácticas (tanto entre humanos como entre estos y los objetos) y su incidencia en la consolidación de la vida aldeana.    Palabras clave: alimentación, sociedades aldeanas tempranas, recursos vegetales, reproducción social.     The settlement of human groups in permanent villages and the beginning of food production brought with it a new world of practices, materialities and relationships. In Anfama, Tucumán, Argentina these villages established at the beginning of the first millennium of the Christian era, and the residential units that formed them, continued and were occupied repeatedly for more than five hundred years. In this work we try to investigate the archaeological record related to food practices in order to reflect the role of food as a cohesive element of the domestic unit. The objective is to try to see the relationships that take place around these practices (both among humans and between humans and objects) and their impact on the consolidation of village life.   Keywords: food, early village societies, vegetable resources, social reproduction.
