| dc.description | The conflict in Bosnia-Herzegovina (from April 1992 to November 1995) showed that old Europe was not exempt from the barbarity of war that was believed to have been overcome after the Holocaust. But was it a civil war, and therefore, a domestic matter between nationals where Public International Law presents the principles of "non-interference in internal affairs" and "national sovereignty"? Or was it an international conflict, taken in either of its two meanings, that is, in the first sense, as an aggression by one or more sovereign states against another country, or in its second meaning, as a warlike outbreak in which they could be involved various states? This article hypothesizes that the Bosnian was also an international conflict, in the two senses mentioned above. | en-US |
