| dc.description | This paper identifies and analyzes the place and significance of the Group of Three (G-3) in Colombia's foreign policy. In this sense, the challenges and opportunities arising from the country's growing commitment to Venezuela and Mexico are raised. Based on an evaluation of the international system, Colombian external behavior and the role of Latin America in the global projection, the preponderance acquired by the G-3 is located and explained. Finally, a conclusion is presented about the scope and limits of the Colombian policy towards this group, and about the urgent need to design and execute a more ambitious, prudent and coherent strategy in this regard. | en-US |

En ese sentido, se plantean los retos y oportunidades que se derivan de un creciente compromiso del país hacia Venezuela y México. A partir de una evaluación del sistema internacional, de la conducta externa colombiana y del papel de América Latina en la proyección global, se ubica y explica la preponderancia adquirida por el G-3. Finalmente, se concluye acerca de los alcances y límites de la política colombiana frente a esta agrupación y en torno a la imperiosa necesidad de diseñar y ejecutar una estrategia más ambiciosa, prudente y coherente al respecto. | es-ES |
