dc.descriptionThis paper presents some comments and reflections, from a comparative point of view, on the approaches to realism and political models of the world order, pointing out their differences and areas of approximation and convergence. The purpose is to contribute to the elaboration of a global frame of reference, to which the main lines of the Latin American theoretical debate on the matter can be adequately linked. We argue that the consideration of global political models responds to their importance as a theoretical response of increasing sophistication to the realistic paradigm, by incorporating in the most appropriate way problems, actors and processes currently considered central in foreign policy agendas.en-US
dc.descriptionEn este trabajo se presentan algunos comentarios y reflexiones, desde un punto de vista comparativo, sobre los enfoques del realismo y de los modelos políticos del orden mundial, señalando sus diferencias y áreas de aproximación y convergencia. El propósito es contribuir a la elaboración de un marco de referencia global, al cual puedan vincularse adecuadamente las principales líneas del debate teórico latinoamericano en la materia. Sostenemos que la consideración de los modelos políticos globales responde a su importancia como respuesta teórica de creciente sofisticación al paradigma realista, al incorporar en la forma más adecuada problemas, actores y procesos considerados actualmente centrales en las agendas de política exterior.es-ES
