| dc.description | The crisis that the capitalist world is currently experiencing does not correspond to one more cyclical depression, within the characteristic ups and downs of the system, but is structural in nature. We maintain that we are facing a long period of low growth rates, of recession, of a very slow world economy, until the need to undertake major structural transformations is understood once and for all. In the same way, in our opinion, rather than being faced with a crisis in the international financial system, we are in the presence of a crisis in the international private banking system. The developing countries are being subjected not only to the brutal impact of the deterioration of their terms of trade, but now they have to absorb the demands that, with the support of the International Monetary Fund, the large international banks impose on them. | en-US |
| dc.description | La crisis que está viviendo el mundo capitalista en la actualidad no corresponde a una depresión cíclica más, dentro de los altibajos característicos del sistema, sino que reviste un carácter estructural. Sostenemos que nos enfrentamos a un largo período de bajas tasas de crecimiento, de recesión, de una economía mundial muy poco dinámica, hasta que de una vez por todas se comprenda la necesidad de acometer grandes transformaciones estructurales. De igual forma, a nuestro juicio más que encontrarnos ante una crisis del sistema financiero internacional, estamos en presencia de una crisis de la banca privada internacional. Los países en desarrollo están siendo sometidos no solo al impacto brutal del deterioro de sus términos de intercambio, sino que ahora tienen que absorber las exigencias que, con el apoyo del Fondo Monetario Internacional, les imponen la gran banca internacional. | es-ES |
