| dc.description | More than a year after the emergence of the so-called "May events", we will focus more on the nature of what happened in France, than on the why and how of the events in question. The paradigmatic importance of the events of May is not so much in the immediate social, political or economic causes that allowed their explosion but precisely in the social developments that they clearly revealed. It is the latter that allow an approach to the dynamics of social change in modern societies. Consequently, it is discussed here: first, the meaning of the protest and the quality of the new social agents that are expressing themselves through it; and then the change in the social roles of denial of conservation and the capacity for modification, measured in terms of power, of the protagonists of the May movement. | en-US |
| dc.description | Transcurrido más de un año desde la eclosión de los llamados "sucesos de mayo", nos enfocaremos más en la naturaleza de lo que ocurrió en Francia, que hacia el por qué y el cómo de los sucesos en cuestión. Es que la importancia paradigmática de los sucesos de mayo no está tanto en las causas sociales, políticas o económicas inmediatas que permitieron su explosión sino precisamente en las novedades sociales que claramente revelaron. Son estas últimas las que permiten un acercamiento a la dinámica del cambio social en las sociedades modernas. Por consiguiente, se discute aquí: primero, eI significado de la protesta y la calidad de los nuevas agentes sociales que a través de ella se están expresando; y luego el cambio de los papeles sociales de negación de conservación y la capacidad de modificación, medida en términos de poder, de los protagonistas del movimiento de mayo. | es-ES |
