dc.descriptionWhen analyzing the fundamental Latin American charters, we identify various formulas for the approval of constitutional reforms. Normally they contemplate aggravated procedures or use participatory mechanisms such as the referendum to ratify the regulations of constitutional rank. However, the phenomenon that recently singles out the approval of new constitutions in this continent is the regulation of the figure of the Constituent Assembly for the total or substantial reform of the fundamental charters.en-US
dc.descriptionAl analizar las cartas fundamentales latinoamericanas identificamos diversas fórmulas para la aprobación de reformas constitucionales. Normalmente contemplan procedimientos agravados o utilizan mecanismos participativos como el referéndum para ratificar la normativa de rango constitucional. No obstante, el fenómeno que singulariza en el último tiempo la aprobación de nuevas constituciones en este continente es la regulación de la figura de la Asamblea Constituyente para la reforma total o de materias sustanciales de las cartas fundamentales.es-ES
