Abstract
The expression "habeas data" is partially taken from the old institute of "habeas corpus", the first word coming from Latin (with the meaning of preserving, keeping or bringing) and the second from English (alluding to information or data)
 
La expresión “habeas data” está parcialmente tomada del antiguo instituto del “habeas corpus”, proviniendo el primer vocablo del latín (con el significado de conservar, guardar o traer) y el segundo del inglés (alusivo a información o datos)
