During the last few months we have witnessed a debate, at times byzantine, about the Office of the Comptroller General of the Republic, its functions, attributions and, in particular, who will be the next Comptroller, as well as an attempt to justify that a good part of the inconveniences that have existed in recent times are due to the current appointment system.Durante los últimos meses hemos sido testigos de un debate, a ratos bizantino, sobre la Contraloría General de la República, sus funciones, atribuciones y en particular quién será el próximo Contralor, así como también se pretende justificar que buena parte de los inconvenientes que han existido en el último tiempo se deben al actual sistema de nombramiento.
