| dc.description | This article proposes an analytical and interpretative reading of the story “Sleeping Beauty”, by Elena Aldunate, considering its ascription to science fiction and its co-dependence with a corpus of children’s stories and with the Greek myth of Selene. This reading is based both on the characteristics of the alluded intertexts and on the narrative modifications introduced by the author. It is postulated that, unlike the children’s stories, the expression of the interactions of biological gender and grammatical gender have been inverted, in order to question the binary sociocultural roles in the configuration of the masculine and feminine principles of the tradition. | en-US |
| dc.description | Este artículo propone una lectura analítica e interpretativa del relato “La bella durmiente”, de Elena Aldunate, considerando su adscripción a la ciencia ficción y su codependencia con un corpus de relatos infantiles y con el mito griego de Selene. Esta lectura se basa tanto en las características de los intertextos aludidos como en las modificaciones narrativas que introduce la autora. Se postula que, a diferencia de los relatos infantiles, la expresión de las interacciones de género biológico y de género gramatical han sido invertidas, a fin de cuestionar los roles socioculturales binarios en la configuración de los principios masculino y femenino propios de la tradición. | es-ES |
