| dc.description | The purpose of this paper is to find out how theology, as a “particular type of human knowledge”, makes explicit and updates the profound anthropological responsibility assumed by God’s Revelation in order to illuminate that horizon of ultimacy towards human life is in fact oriented. Theology thus joins with its own voice the effort of other scientific knowledge that also try to achieve an epistemology of humanitas that can account for its ultimate goods iuxta propria principia.

| dc.description | Partiendo de una crítica a la concepción antropológica que subyace a la visión transhumanista del futuro de la humanidad, el propósito de este estudio es dar cuenta de la relevancia que posee hoy la soteriología cristiana para el progreso de la cultura humana. Para ello se muestra la profunda responsabilidad antropológica que adquiere la revelación de Dios en la persona de Jesucristo, al no eludir la paradoja que confirma la veracidad de la pregunta del hombre por su salvación: no contra, sino en y a través de la menesterosidad de su naturaleza personal.
