Hellenization and Romanization were two acculturation phenomena of the antiquity. It's true that both processes were not simultaneous, but they coincide with their methods and projections. Through this article, we intend to explain what they were, how did they develop and the difficulties that they faced.Dos fenómenos importantes de aculturación en la antigüedad fueron la helenización y la romanización. Si bien es cierto que ambos procesos no se efectuaron simultáneamente, coinciden en sus métodos y proyecciones. Intentaremos explicar, a través de este artículo, en qué consistieron, cómo se desarrollaron y qué dificultades enfrentaron.
