| dc.description | In this article, we partially analyze the work of Tacitus, one of the greatest authors of the ancient world, written within the period of uttermost apogee of the Roman Empire. Specifically, we emphasize the perspective assumed by the autor in front of the other, the one who is different; in this case, the peoples inhabitating beyond the imperial border Additionally, we stress the romanized condition of the world in which Tacitus lives, that determines the author's sight and attitude towards the object under examination. | en-US |
| dc.description | En este artículo, analizamos parte de la obra de Tácito, uno de los mejores autores del mundo antiguo, escrita en el momento de mayor apogeo del Imperio Romano. Específicamente, enfatizamos la perspectiva que asume el autor en la visión del otro, de aquél que es diferente; en este caso, de los pueblos que habitan más allá de la frontera imperial.
