| dc.description | The study compares two theoretical perspectives -prospective and bioeconomy- in relation to the crisis of the industrial system of production, within the framework of the advanced capitalism during the last third of century XX. At level of historical theory, both propose somekind of civilizationary breakthrough It is difficult to evaluate their theoretical validity, because prospective and bioeconomy show well-known normative slants in their analyses. Therefore, they are interpreted like phenomena of intellectual history from a sociological understanding. Both paradigms seem to respond to the requirements of societies in risk that need ethical directions with claims of scientificity. Also, they constitute good examples of systemical processes of functional differentiation in social sciences: they increase complexity in the eagerness to reduce it. | en-US |
| dc.description | El estudio compara dos perspectivas teóricas -prospectiva y bioeconoma- en relación a la crisis del sistema industrial de producción, en el marco del capitalismo avanzado durante el último tercio del siglo XX. A nivel de teoría de la historia, ambas se plantean en términos de ruptura civilizatoria. Es difícil evaluar su validez teórica, pues prospectiva y bioeconomía manifiestan notorios sesgos normativos en sus análisis. Por ende, se interpretan como fenómenos de historia de las ideas susceptibles de comprensión sociológica. Ambos paradigmas parecen responder a los requerimientos de sociedades en riesgo que necesitan orientaciones éticas con pretensiones de cientificidad. Asimismo, constituyen buenos ejemplos de procesos sistémicos de diferenciación funcional en ciencias sociales: incrementan complejidad en el afán por reducirla. | es-ES |
