dc.descriptionThe allometric effect observed between the offered functions and the identified population, particularly in Norte Chico and Patagonia, are two problems detected in relation to the commuting phenomenon in Chile in conjunction with the constant disequilibrium between the nodal centres of these areas with respect to the surrounding environment. The first ones have a tendency to concentrate population and have not always contributed in dynamizing its surrounding. This has been perpetuated by a lack of harmony between labour supply and labour demand. This has originated a variety of commuting types that limit local/regional development. In this context, the purpose of the current work is to detect the changes in the Chilean labour structures with particular emphasis on commuting. The results revealed that there exist differences between the commuters’ profiles and their types of communication. While an interrelation pointing towards the rest of country was observed in the north part of the country, a more interregional interrelation was observed in an area named Chilean Patagonia. On the other hand, changes in labour demands with different impacts have been identified. Among these impacts, indirect ones stand out towards the area that motivates them as well as the indirect impacts that will be generated indirectly and that affect the rest of the system.  en-US
dc.descriptionDos problemas detectados para la conmutación en Chile, son el efecto alométrico que se observa entre las funciones ofrecidas y la población encontrada, en especial, en el Norte Chico y la Patagonia chilena, a lo que se suman los constantes desequilibrios entre los centros nodales en estos territorios respecto a los que están en sus alrededores. Los primeros, han tendido a concentrar población y no siempre han contribuido a dinamizar su entorno, lo anterior se ha perpetuado por las faltas de armonía entre la oferta y demanda laboral, lo que ha originado tipos de conmutación variadas que condicionan el desarrollo local/ regional. En tal línea, este trabajo, se propuso detectar los cambios en las estructuras laborales en Chile y en especial, de la conmutación. Los resultados se pueden resumir en que existen diferencias entre los perfiles de los conmutantes y los tipos de conmutación que se realizan. Mientras en el norte del país se observa una interrelación que apunta hacia el resto del país, en el sur es más bien del tipo interregional, limitándose a un espacio denominado Patagonia chilena. Por otra parte, se ha detectado que los cambios en las demandas laborares presentan variados tipos de impacto, entre ellos destacan los indirectos hacia la zona que los motiva como los indirectos que se generarán en forma indirecta y afectan al resto del sistema.  es-ES
