dc.descriptionIn this article I intend to draw up some of the fundamental themes of Castoriadis' thought regarding politics and the collateral themes implied. To show that in the pendular character that his thought assumes, his political philosophy is also organized, in whose vision democracy and philosophy share a common origin in the Hellenic world and are distinctive still in contemporary western world. This investigation stems from Castoriadis' article The Greek Polis and the Creation of Democracy. A lengthy investigation which seeks to systematize Castoriadis' thought, having as background reference his political philosophy.en-US
dc.descriptionEn este artículo me propongo delinear algunos de los temas fundamentales del pensamiento de Castoriadis respecto de la política y los temas colaterales que implica. Mostrar que en el carácter pendular que asume su pensamiento se organiza al mismo tiempo su filosofía política, en cuya visión, tanto democracia como filosofía comparten un origen común en el mundo heleno y son lo distintivo aún en el mundo occidental contemporáneo. Esta investigación se origina en el artículo La polis griega y la creación de la democracia. Investigación de largo aliento que busca sistematizar el pensamiento de Castoriadis, teniendo como referencia de fondo su filosofía política.es-ES
